Juanita Mejia-Goodwell

Juanita Goodwell joined IYI in February of 2002 and is the organization's Field Representative in Northeastern Indiana. Previously, she spent nine years with the Twenty-First Century Scholars Program in Fort Wayne where she coordinated that region's site. Prior to that, she worked as an administrator with such Fort Wayne youth agencies as the YWCA and Whitington Homes, Inc.
As IYI's Northeastern Indiana field representative, Juanita's primary role is to build relationships with IYI's current and potential constituents in the region and connect them with resources and other community efforts to support youth. Juanita completed her bachelor degree in criminal justice from Indiana University Purdue University in Fort Wayne. She resides in Fort Wayne with her husband David Goodwell and two step-sons Justice and Dion.
