Nearly two-thirds of Indiana mentoring programs have a waiting list of children who need and want a mentor. By purchasing a Mentor a Child plate, you are strengthening mentoring programs and helping find volunteer mentors.
Sustained one-on-one mentoring with a caring adult can help children: stay in school and graduate, pursue higher education, enhance self-esteem, avoid criminal activities, better relate to people, and set career goals.
