In a survey of adolescents conducted by the Centers for Disease Control, Hoosier teens scored worse than the national average on all ten measures of dietary behavior. Indiana’s teens, for example, are less likely than their national peers to eat healthfully and to exercise, but more likely to stop eating for 24 hours or to vomit in an attempt to lose weight.
